The Victoria

Everything was amazing apart from one thing I'm not sure you can change..

Unfortunately we only had an internal window so the room got quite hot and stuffy

Breakfast good, location fine. Staff lovely, Pub good

The Victoria is a quaint, comfortable and characteristic Guest House situated in the heart of Alderney. The attention to detail in the rooms, the décor, and the breakfast menu is wonderful. From postcards to send left in your room to a basket of beach towels in the communal lounge area to take with you, the effort and care to ensure this is a comfortable and pleasurable stay is very evident. I stayed in a single room, called 'Arch'. The walk-in shower and bathroom area looked and felt brand new it was so clean. Walking across the road to the partner premises (the Georgian) to check-in is not an issue either. Very friendly staff all round.

Being an old house, the ceilings are high, and the walls not as insulated as more modern premises, so noise from adjoining rooms and corridors can carry a little.

Breakfast choices very good. Staff very obliging.
