It was clean and good enough for a night

We had room 4 which didn't have an ensuite. The bathroom was across the hallway. I didn't like that at all. If you do end up in room 4, make sure you lock the bathroom because people do use it despite having their own... Dinner (steak pie) was way too salty... We gave breakfast a miss as we wanted an early start.

The staff were friendly and so welcoming the room was clean and comfortable with good facilities. A most enjoyable place to stay. I would definitely recommend this place to stay the pub food was so good 👍

Nothing much at all we enjoyed our stay

It is a proper pub stay and very cosy. The landlady Sally was exceptionally lovely and welcoming, she even upgraded us when a better room happened to be available. We were there for one night and one of our party got sick over the stay, Sally was extremely accommodating, made toast and coffee, and let us have a late check out to ensure we were okay to travel. The facilities were clean and the bed extremely comfortable, it was a perfect place for us to stay!

Something to bear in mind is that it is over a pub so during the opening hours there will be some music audible from the rooms, but this shouldn't interrupt sleeping hours.

Great location. Clean . Parking on grounds or 1 min walk away.

Breakfast, and friendly staff. Good location if you enjoy walking.

Pub located next to a busy road so expect some noise if staying in a room overlooking the road.

The host and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

There was nothing to dislike about our stay

It's a pub , with accommodations,serving food, what's not too like.

No parking . But free parking in nearby. But was the very busy, time of year I think.

The atmosphere there was brilliant. Staff were so nice and helpful. Would recommend to anyone.
