THE KINGS ARMS INN

An early drop-off for my bag was made available to me and I was greeted warmly upon arrival. The room was pleasant and comfortable with an abundance of tea/coffee and biscuits and access to a fridge outside the room with a supply of fresh milk. Bathroom facilities were good, although external to the room. I enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast which was included in the price.

The out-of-hours access to the room was easy but a little unusual, via an external fire escape staircase.

What a treasure, friendly staff, great room and bed, exceptional hostess, good dinner, good beverages, lovely breakfast.

The only criticism would be the off road parking, which is small but can be organised.

The staff were lovely, and Sally was a delightful host. Made us feel very welcome. The personal approach was so sweet, felt like we’d been regulars for years.

Fresh milk provided. Landlady very friendly and whilst you are expected to select breakfast night before, if you want same breakfast each day, no need to submit your choice.

Room looked tired. Limited breakfast choice. Fruit juice in cartons, cereals in original boxes. Macerator in bathroom very noisy and often burst to life at all times day & night. Very limited parking, max 4 vehicles. Car park near by that was very busy and used by locals, so again limited parking.
