Very frendliy nice breakfast, room slightly noise , road noise , a little warm so had to open windows

It said on the description about a garden view ,but we were on the road side, facing,

Excellent breakfast and I really appreciated being able to have breakfast a little earlier than the normal breakfast time.

We had stopped in multiple similar b&b establishments over the last few nights and this was our favourite by far. The stay exceeded our expectations. The room was larger than it looked from the online photos, very clean and very well stocked with amenities, including lots of towels, robe, teas, coffee and biscoff biscuits! There was a fridge down the end of the corridor with real milk, plus a few beers which were very welcome! The landlady is super friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was lovely. This was probably the most reasonable price we had paid for bed and breakfast, which made our stay even more of a pleasant surprise. Because we stayed on a Sunday, there was no food available in the evening (we had already been made aware of this, so it wasn’t a problem at all) but the menu and the chalk board with specials looked great, also with very reasonable prices compared to everything else we had encountered in Cornwall. We wouldn’t hesitate in staying again next time we have a road trip, perhaps staying for longer and using it as a base because there are lots of places nearby to visit. This is a real pub with friendly locals who made us feel very welcome. We will be back!

The car park is very small and there are outside tables using some of the space. It wasn’t a problem for us as we got a spot, but if the pub was full, it would have meant finding a space on the street….not the end of the world!

The toilet has a macerator fitted and it "activated" every time any of the taps or shower were in use. The pull-cord for the shower/extractor is very short. Being of diminutive stature (5ft tall) I difficulty in reaching it!
