Helpful friendly hosts. Very clean, well equipped room on a nice street in a quiet area.

The overnight stay at the The Cedars, in all aspects, was excellent. Helen is a very welcoming host and her property is an immaculate home approached along a leafy, quiet, grove of private residences. The luxurious room in which I stayed was refreshingly cool (especially thankful in the current heatwave) and the adjoining bathroom also luxuriously appointed. I slept well through the night and breakfast was another delight. Helen’s daughter had laid everything on a table outside, so sitting in the natural morning light, under blue skies, was a perfect beginning to the busy day ahead. Needless to say the food and beverages provided were both nourishing and well presented. In fact, it would be fair to say, the whole experience matched, even exceeded, what one might find in an exclusive boutique hotel, yet this was more personal. As frequent travellers know, it is the little things which make the difference. Therefore, I’ve no hesitation in recommending The Cedars…though hoping Helen has a vacancy the next time I’m passing through, over twenty-four hours, in the same locality !

Delighted with our stay at The Cedars, Helen was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. The room was comfortable and clean with tea/coffee facilities, hair dryer and a collection of toiletries if needed. The use of a little courtyard garden was a nice extra. Would be more than happy to stay again the next time we visit. Thank you for having us xx

The most welcoming and selfless hosts. The room was immaculate and everything had been thought out down to the last detail. Helen and Cara made fabulous hosts and their continental breakfast was delicious.

An amazing welcome by the owner Helen. She went out of her way to ensure that my wife and I were very happy. Our suite was exceptional with everything one needs for a relaxed comfortable stay. Having travelled to world with my work prior to retirement, this beautiful hideaway is perfect. Continental breakfast served in your room by the daughter of the owner was a lovely gesture.
