We had a great stay and enjoyed an all too brief chat with Angela. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and set us up for the day. We would like to stay longer next time.

Very friendly, warm welcome. Room exceptionally cosy and very clean. Lovely bathroom too. Delicious breakfast and Angela made us some sandwiches which was most helpful.

"Dirty bedsheets. Food ok"

The food was tasty, and Angela was friendly and polite.

The main disadvantages were the dirty bed sheets, which had blood stains, long hair, and short curly hair on them, and the shower, which didn’t work properly and kept switching back to the bath setting. These issues were quite disappointing. It seemed that the bed sheets had not been changed after the previous guests.

"Exactly what we were looking for"

Angela was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast lived up to its high rating and the room was sizeable and comfortable.

A bit of a bumpy road to access the property but this wouldn't put me off returning.

Breakfast was really good and served with a smile. Very clean and spacious bathroom and adequately furnished bedroom.

Nothing to complain about. I describe the location as idyllic. The host, Angela was so helpful and went the extra mile to ensure guests needs are taken care of.

"Excellent breakfast and very comfortable room and en suite."

Excellent B&B with very nice room and en suite and lovely breakfast. The Castle Inn, which is 20mins walk away, served an excellent dinner. This was a great place to stop during the 38 mile Archangel's Walk on Dartmoor which I completed in 3 days.
