"Fabulous Old Hall Cressage"

10.0

Everything about Old Hall is fabulous! Beautiful house and gardens with access to the river and woods. Our room was lovely and large and very comfortable. Breakfast is freshly made with a very good choice . The owners make this place, Robin and Louise are so friendly and welcoming and very informative about the area and its history.

Cressage Old Hall is a countryside home with an interesting history. It has been lovingly restored and updated with modern day refinements by its current owners Robin and Louise. It sits in a very tranquil setting, surrounded by private gardens and woodland, over looking the River Severn. All the rooms are very spacious with pleasant views and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms have walk-in showers. The property has generous private parking which is accessed via an automated gated private drive. The location proved a great hub for the local area with a good variety of meal options in local restaurants. Communication was always prompt and the host was on hand if needed, appearing for breakfast, but letting you relax in your own space. A very enjoyable stay, recommended.

"Stunning, peaceful, so clean and just wonderful!"

10.0

This b and b is super. Robin greeted us on arrival and showed us around, he was really helpful with local information about places to visit and restaurants to go to. It is extremely clean, the gardens are beautiful. The room is luxurious, spacious, beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious. We absolutely loved our two night stay, thank you Robin and Louise.

There is nothing that would make this any better!

"Wonderful place and space near Shrewsbury"

10.0

The property is gorgeous. The owners have addressed every detail as travelers themselves; all the amenities were carefully crafted. The sitting area is a lovely setting for afternoon tea. The breakfasts were excellently prepared. The garden was simply spectacular full of delightful surprises along the path. The location was convenient to area sites and dining options.

We loved everything.

"A very special property."

10.0

Old Hall is a very special property. A historic building that has been substantially dismantled to repair the underlying structure, then rebuilt with skill and love. It is set on the edge of the river Severn (high enough that you don’t need to worry about flooding!) with a lovely view across fields and trees to the Wrekin. We had a lovely time roaming around the extensive gardens which again are beautifully designed and maintained. Robin gave us some tips on the best places to eat in the local area which included a couple of places that supplied amazing gluten free pies. Any who has a gluten intolerance will know just how rare this is. The breakfasts offered by Robin and Louise were exactly to our taste. Not only that, but they went to a lot of trouble to provide gluten and lactose free items for my wife Carol. During our stay we visited the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, the cradle of the Industrial Revolution in the UK. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend this location to anyone wanting to explore the area.

Nothing really.
