Breakfast was like bakery items and self prepared. But still good though not proper English breakfast

The house is beautifully decorated and very cosy, with lots of character. The kitchen is well-equipped and the shared spaces were clean and comfortable. The bathroom had shampoo and shower gel available, which was really thoughtful. The hosts were incredibly kind and told us to let them know if we needed anything - we felt very welcome.

The windows in our room couldn’t be opened, and there was a bit of dust in some areas. Both the bathroom and kitchen are shared with other guests - not a problem for us, but worth knowing :)

The shower pressure and mechanism were really good. The room was a good size with a small fridge in the room.

The bathroom (particularly the shower) was not clean. Mouldy slime and hair on the shower base. The kitchen also was not clean and there were black ants in abundance. The only non-sugar cereal was stale.

Even though we had the room on the top floor, the room was clean and had a comfortable bed. There was a small shower room next door. The kitchen was well equipped for self-serve breakfast. So, all in all good value. For one or two nights.

Arrived completely drenched on a walking holiday - and was delighted about the facilities in the kitchen/house area; a dryer for my wet clothes, great selection of breakfast and snack items readily available; overall just what I really needed. They saved my day!
