Angels Hotel

Food , Breakfast and Dinner, was very nice and reasonably priced

Sleep quality was awful , loud music until after midnight on the second night, Friday.

Everything about this place is exceptional, staff were amazing, the breakfast was to die for , definitely will stay again

Comfortable bed. Great shower. Good breakfast and dinner menus which catered for all. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. A bit of a way out of the city centre but there are regular buses and trains. Would absolutely recommend Angels.

I had a front room so heard the traffic early in the morning.

The food/restaurant was outstanding & the staff could not have been more friendly & helpful!

There were no windows just a very small skylight & the shower was very small.

La salle de bain est petite et la douche et le lavabo sont très étroits ce n’est pas le plus pratique. Il n’y avait qu’une fenêtre de toit ce qui ne laisse pas beaucoup passer l’air et il faisait assez chaud c’est dommage.

The staff we saw and interacted with were very nice. Breakfast was nice. It was close to where we needed to be for the weekend. It had parking.

We had 2 family rooms. One room only had a window in the roof which you had to stand on a bed to open. This was not in the notes when we booked and if we’d known we wouldn’t have booked. Felt very claustrophobic. The other room was directly above the bar so the noise over the weekend was awful and not suitable to a family room. We spent half the night listening to drunk shouting. The bathroom is tiny! You can’t bend down to pick up your shampoo and the doors do not open very far so you have to walk in sideways. The sink is also tiny. There is black mould all around the shower and flakey paint on the ceiling. One of our rooms had a cup cleaned the other didn’t and we had to use the downstairs bar toilet as we had no toilet paper and could not find anyone to ask. There is no reception desk so you check in at the restaurant entrance and it’s chaotic when people are trying to get in/out and you have luggage.

Breakfast was the best on our 3-week trip. You have a choice of different things. I think dinner there would have been marvelous also. The staff was so accommodating.

No elevators, you will have to carry your luggage up stairs - 2 sets. It was also warm in the room, no A/C.
