We had a Christmas lunch at 3 Quiz at 6 Kareoke at 9. Brilliant night.

Lovely staff and we had great entertainment 👍

Would have loved eggs benedict or other choice for breakfast but overall fabulous 👌

Welcome by the staff was excellent - food was tasty and breakfast outstanding

There was a bucket in the hallway which presumably was due to a leak in the roof

Great location and ideal for short breaks

I think it should be mentioned ahead of booking that live music and bar music will be played until the early hours of the morning, with the building being old you can sing along while in your room. Whilst this didn't affect us too much I do feel this is something which should be known at the time of booking.

It was so clean and comfortable, in a great location, staff so friendly and felt real homely .

The property was fantastic but a toilet brush in the bathroom would be ideal for hygiene purposes.

Food was excellent. Great atmosphere in the bar areas. Staff very polite, efficient and helpful. Perfectly located near to the train station for getting about.

Shower needed to be bigger and had the beginnings of mould around the seals ( Room 2 ). We also had a family room ( Room 7 ) but were told children were not welcome in the bar after half past 6. Maybe this could be communicated at time of booking as we may have stayed elsewhere.

The hotel was very well kept and the facilities were very good with great staff and service throughout our stay.

Our bedroom (number 7) didn't have any windows, just a small skylight, so felt a bit claustrophobic. The bathroom was too small the basin almost unusable and the shower was the smallest I have ever seen, good job we are not large!

Happy with everything tbh lovely evening meal and a very good choice at breakfast bed was a bit small Ach look value for money wee bit live music to so happy out see you again soon Bruce
