Location Amazing (Scottish) breakfast Furnishings Car parking The staff are amazing

The music on a Friday/Saturday night is way too loud when there are rooms directly above where it’s being played. It’s not cheap to spend the night there £100/£110 per night to not being able to sleep!. I would suggest the manager of the hotel spends a night in Room 4 (and probably any of the other rooms) on a Friday night and try and get some sleep before the music stops at 0100am and they will then see why my reviews, and others about other rooms, are accurate and justified. It’s a shame to be negative about this hotel as the rest of that it offers is fab.

Wanted a single room but only the family room available Shower bar was broken

It was well situated for the train station The breakfast was 10/10

Could do with the shower revamping and a new carpet

Good location, friendly staff, they allowed us to book out a little later as was up there from swansea for a funeral

Shower way too small, could hardly move in it, no windows in room or bathroom.

3rd stay here while visiting our grandson. Staff really nice, food great, we took part in the quiz Thursday nights, the host is really nice and chatty. Booked again! Danny at check in was very helpful.

All good nothing negative.

Breakfast was exceptional

Room was overlooking main road so was a little noisy with window open but not too bad

The friendliness of the Staff on arrival. We had pre-paid for Asti-Spumante to be in our room but due to a communication break down this didn’t occur, we were given a full-refund plus a free bottle of Champagne which we throughly enjoyed. The Bar and restaurant were excellent with speedy service and reasonable pricing. We both enjoyed our Dinner and the excellent Breakfast.

Having trouble thinking about this as we both thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would recommend the Angel Uddingston to everyone which we have on social media.

Love Angels for meals but a bit disappointed with our stay. Loved Harry’s Bar!

Room is very small and dark. No view and a constant noise from somewhere (room 2). Toilet bowl could have been cleaner. My first choice of Malbec red wine with my meal not in stock. Same with next choice of Shiraz, very disappointing.
