Errington House

The owners, Lex and Carolyn were terrific! They were most helpful, especially with recovering a lost piece of luggage. Beautiful property, excellent breakfast. Very convenient to Newcastle Upon Tyne airport.

Errington House is in Northumberland, about 5 miles from Corbridge, and convenient for Hadrian's Wall. It is a large comfortable house set in farmland down a small lane, and is very quiet as a result. The room was comfortable, and the hosts, Carolyn and Lex, charming and helpful. They are a fount of knowledge about what to see and do in the area, on hand with a welcome cup of tea after a day out. Breakfast was good, with a cooked breakfast available on request. Own car or other means of transport essential.

Warm welcome. Very comfortable spacious room in a beautiful house with a good breakfast in open countryside near to Hadrians Wall. Our hosts also offered us a delicious three course meal with wine for a reasonable price.

We really enjoyed the quiet rural setting of Erringron House. We were traveling to see history so we appreciated staying in a building that has been here from the early 18th century and was in excellent condition. The couple were very welcoming.

Hosts were wonderful, even joining us for drinks on the patio in the evening. The beds are amazing.

It was all a lovely experience.

Peaceful location. Excellent facilities. Hosts also excellent....nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing to dislike

Carolyn and Lex are charming hosts; Errington House is a beautiful spacious home, lovely peaceful location. As we had a 7 hour drive, we arranged well in advance, Carolyn agreed to provide supper which was delicious.

All aspects of our stay were excellent - just not long enough!
