Errington House

Amazing location, cosy room with everything you need for your stay, kind and welcoming host , who can cook a delicious breakfast and have a great advise for a lot of places to visit.

Loved the very peaceful location. Away from any town hustle and noise but still close to Hadrian's Wall sites and many great pubs for dinner. Carolyn provided a warm welcome and wonderful breakfast. Large comfortable room.

We thoroughly enjoyed a delightful one night stay in this traditional Northumbrian farmhouse. We particularly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the spectacular rural location. Our attic bedroom was supremely comfortable and having its own staircase was very private. Special mention must be made of the bed linen and towels that all smelled incredible. Wish I’d asked Carolyn which detergent and conditioner she uses! Breakfast was taken with other guests around a large farmhouse table and there was a splendid selection of cold and hot food available. Carolyn and Lex were terrific hosts and we wholeheartedly recommend Errington House for an exceptional country house experience.

A very nice house set in a beautiful English countryside. The room was very spacious and cosy. We felt looked after and the hosts were very kind, humorous and welcoming! We highly recommend it! Thank you very much!
