Large double room in comfortable, traditionally-furnished home in beautiful countryside close to market towns and big cities. Very welcoming hosts.

The property itself is located at the top of a winding lane with superb views and Carolyn & Lex were the perfect hosts and it was a privilege to be in their beautiful home! The room we had was large, with a king sized bed and a lovely en suite. An extremely good breakfast was provided with everything you could want at a large dining table where we were able to chat with other guests! We definitely hope to go back in the not to distant future and would definitely recommend!

There was nothing that disappointed our stay!

This beautiful house in a lovely location was just what we needed. Carolyn and Lex were the perfect hosts who went far beyond our expectations; providing a tasty cooked breakfast with home produced accompaniments. Our dog was also made welcome and was very comfortable with the free run of the downstairs guest areas and perfectly happy with sleeping downstairs with the owners’ two impeccably behaved spaniels. Our room overlooking the front garden was spotlessly clean and we were very impressed that our hosts had ensured we were short of nothing. We will definitely return; not just because there is lots more to see and do in the area also because Errington House is a place of relaxation and tranquility.

Carolyn and Lex were extremely welcoming and have a beautiful home. Incredible views all round, tranquil and a fabulous location for exploring the Roman surroundings eg Hadrians Wall, Chesters, Hexham and Corbridge. Everything at Errington House is a “notch above”. Look forward to returning soon!

Carolyn and Lex were amazing hosts, the location was beautiful in the countryside but close enough to villages and great places to eat. Errington House was a beautiful place to stay, rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, really comfy bed and very well equipped. The breakfast was brilliant, plenty to eat, cereal, toast, fresh fruit, homemade jams and marmalade. Lovely cooked breakfast with fresh eggs straight from the chickens. An amazing place to stay with a lovely family feeling.
