Lovely premises, very welcoming breakfast

Everything was perfect! My room was on the third floor with lovely views, but no lift (keep this in mind if you have luggage)

Great location, Beautiful well kept house. Karen made a lovely breakfast and was very helpful. Could use the kitchen to make tea which was nice. But…

I let myself in to a completely empty guesthouse on arrival. No reception. NO TV in the room which was disappointing. Also there was no stand or table for my suitcase to unpack and no shelves or drawers to put the clothes even though the room was a good size. There was a public area with a tv but I could not get it to work and would prefer to have the privacy of my room. I was the only guest at breakfast on all 3 days. It seemed more like an Airbnb. No one serviced my room while I was there. I would not stay again mainly due to the lack of tv in the room.

Nice location clean and tidy. Karen was a very nice and friendly face in the morning. Good breakfast.

Although no TV, not essential. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities within the room. Not sure if I could have used it in the kitchen area, there was no instruction on this being available?

"Great place, great decor, good location, easy parking and very friendly host!"

The location was fantastic, the room was clean and perfect for my quick overnight trip and Karen was so friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay again and having the kitchen to make food or a cup of tea in was fabulous! I was able to park right outside for an overnight fee of £6.60, making it really stress free. There aren't kettles in the room but the kitchen is big and has everything you need and certainly does give you that ‘home from home’ feel so for me, this was not an issue and I enjoyed being able to use it and loved the feel of the place. I will definitely book again.

Breakfast was great, Karen really looked after us. Eggs and bacon, toast, coffee with a choice of milk. Just like being at home.
