"Very Good"

The convenience, location, informality and the Guinness. The breakfast was easily accessible and quickly produced off site. The informal entertainment was very good and at a comfortable volume.

"Perfect and very Irish."

We had a lovely stay in a charming Irish town! Full Irish breakfast was included and served in a nearby cafe. The landlady was very attentive and helpful. We really appreciated being able to enjoy our takeaway in the lounge. Despite being above a pub, the accommodation was wonderfully quiet thanks to well-insulated walls. The town itself is picturesque, with a beautiful beach and stunning surroundings — a perfect getaway!

Chambre familiale au 2e étage spacieuse et au calme. Pub intimiste et traditionnel d'un côté avec clientèle d'habitués et grand espace bar + beer garden avec musiciens le soir à l'arrière. Merci à sa gérante Clare qui met a disposition une salle pour manger notre piknik.

Staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. Great value. Comfortable bed. Gorgeous traditional pub downstairs. Also lovely beer garden out the back.

"Truly amazing place."

This place is like a home away from home. Perfect location. Close to all coastal attractions and very well run. Claire and the staff treated us more like family than clients. Claire herself saved us from an error I made with the booking dates. Such a kind hearted person and true hero. Other places would have left us on our own. She is a shining example of how to care for and run a guesthouse and pub. A Cushendall star! We will only book at the Central Bar in the future. Thank you Claire from Colleen and Gord.

"Great value comfortable accommodation in the centre of Cushendall"

Great accommodation in the centre of Cushendall, while we attended The Open in Portrush. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Claire at check in was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Bonus to have breakfast included few doors away in Cafe Cova- the famous Ulster Fry really hit the spot. Would highly recommend.
