Het ontbijt en het door ons bestelde lunchpakketje was uitstekend!

Wij kwamen behoorlijk nat aan bij Lock Arklet House na het lopen van een etappe van de West Highland Way. We moesten onze kleddernatte schoenen bij de voordeur uit doen en deze mochten niet mee naar onze kamer. Het gevolg hiervan was dat we de volgende ochtend met nog altijd kleddernatte schoenen de volgende etappe gingen lopen. Het was prettig geweest als de accomodatie had aangeboden de schoenen in de buurt van een verwarming te plaatsen.

Mysigt familjebostad. Väldigt bekväma sängar. Låg lugnt och skönt till, omgivningen var fin.

Tyvärr lång uppförsbacke att ta sig förbi efter en lång vandringsdag men det är inte boendets fel.

A very well maintained house with clean and good quality rooms with homely and eloquent decor typical of a nice family home in the area. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and generous. I would gladly stay again.

The location could not be beaten. So beautiful by the Loch and peaceful with nature to enjoy all around. Wonderful area of Scotland off the beaten track to enjoy. We even had a quick dip in the morning before we left.
