Peaceful location and convenient place not far from the surrounding villages. Loved it!

Quiet location.

We asked for breakfast at 8.30. A few minutes before that we had a knock on the door and found cooked breakfast on the table with no time for cereal and we hadn’t been given the opportunity to say what we would like in the cooked breakfast. Only 2 slices of bread were available. As we left the hostess didn’t get up from her chair to say ‘ goodbye’.

There was nothing not to like.

It's a very nice B&B, we booked both rooms so having the whole place to ourselves was perfect for what we needed. Nice and spacious and the kitchenette area is very useful. We didn't have the cooked breakfast but the toast and cereals were more than sufficient.

The only thing that we really didn't like is the owners lack of respect for others personal space, on 2 occasions they brought things over to us but just let themselves in rather than knock, in the first instance the man (miserable looking bugger!) pretty much pushed his way past me to put plates on the table which he could have just handed to me (I even had my hands out for him to do so). We could have been showering or anything, plus our children were in there so we didn't appreciate people just letting themselves in. A shame really as it was a very pleasant stay with the exception of that annoying detail.

Very good room and an excellent location for me

- No milk for tea, or for the cereal I found later in the adjoining room that I'd not been told about, and there was no obvious means of contacting the staff/hosts - I'd been given a key safe code for my late arrival, around 10 pm, but couldn't find it - it was in a courtyard behind a gate with a catch I was unable to release. I tried phoning the number I'd been given, but no reply, only a message service, though I could hear the phone ringing in the house. Finally after 15 minutes or so waiting in the cold, one of the owners arrived in a van and let me in.

I would stay again but bring own tea making stuff Nice, enjoyed the garden for dog. No sink in bathroom. Bedding was very basic Breakfast wasnt great, Hosts were lovely

The accommodation was set in a very pretty village. It was quiet and very peaceful. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable with all the extras you would expect ie: Tea making facilities, milk and biscuits. Continental breakfast was inclusive, full English was cooked as requested for a very reasonable price. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

The bedroom could have been warmer especially first thing in the morning as it was cold and frosty outside. The water in the shower was not warm enough.

Contained. Clean. Had everything I needed. Jane was amazing. Really comfortable. Pleasant and homely. Couldn’t have asked for any more. After a day at work was great to chill out. Shared kitchen was an added bonus and had everything you’d need - although i didn’t use it.
