Gweebara(and its lovely host Tim) are the best option for anyone staying in the Holywood area, or Belfast for that matter-it is located in a lovely, upscale neighborhood, close to the sea, airport, shopping, waterfront walks, and expressway/main roadways-the B&B is delightful...the owner is even better-he's a great conversationalist, and has a great breakfast room with a-la-cart items available all day-nice option. Beds are the best, rooms spotlessly clean, and garden is gorgeous-2 rooms have french doors to garden.

The proximity of Gweebarra to Belfast City Airport was super convenient for me, though I must stress that here was no aircraft noise whatsoever, and the leafy suburban environment felt very tranquil. My double room with bathroom was also spacious and had a luxury feel. The real highlight though, was the host Tim. He is wonderfully friendly and interesting, and it was a pleasure to chat with him and be welcomed into his home.

I hate to be negative about anything as enjoyed my stay so much, but the mattress on the king-sized bed is probably due for replacement as it was rather uneven.

Great hospitality again from Tim on our 2nd visit. Really good vibe and such a friendly atmosphere. Facilities are excellent, clean and plenty of options for your breakfast but I think the fresh cooked breakfast to your liking is better than most Hotels.

Set in amid a beautiful leafy green arbor, it’s a beautiful tranquil haven away from noise , the hustle & bustle of city life.

Parking for me was a little challenging but Tim came out of the house & kindly maneuvered my car into a good position.

Lovely room and facilities, really friendly and accommodating host. Could recommend enough.

Tim was so accommodating and helpful, even giving me a lift to my event and letting me stay on beyond the check out time.
