We recently stayed at the Camelot Seafront Hotel as a family of five for two nights, and it was perfect for what we needed. The room had plenty of space for all of us, with a double bed, double sofa bed, and a single bed. It was ideal for getting our heads down after busy days out. There were also tea and coffee facilities, which is always a nice touch. We’d been told the room could get warm, but it wasn’t an issue at all. There was a remote-controlled ceiling fan and a powerful floor fan provided, which made a big difference. The shower was actually really nice—very powerful and one of the better ones we’ve had in a hotel. The staff were lovely throughout our stay—friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast is available for an additional cost and is well worth it. Adults can choose any 8 items from the cooked breakfast menu, and kids can pick 5 items. There are also cereals, toast, hot drinks, and juice included, so there’s plenty of choice. WiFi was good, and the location is excellent—right across from South Pier. Despite being in such a central spot, we didn’t find it noisy at all. It’s great value for money. We stayed in Room 11, and the only small thing I’d change is the wall the TV is mounted on—it might work better where the canvas is—but honestly, it wasn’t an issue. They also let us store our luggage after checkout, and our room was ready early, which was really appreciated. I work in hospitality myself, and I can genuinely say this place offers great value for money with very pleasant staff. We’d definitely stay again.

That we had to return home

We were greeted upon arrival, very friendly staff! Rooms were clean we got one of the upgraded rooms and it was fantastic. Comfortable beds, clean and warm.

As a young family of 5 the family room was perfect for us for the night. It was clean and we had what we needed. We had a sea view which was lovely. The staff were very friendly and accommodating:) The hotel was close to the pleasure beach, shops, fish and chips shops and the tram stop. Very convenient.

Only negative was the pigeons on the roof gave us an early wake up call! But that's unavoidable.

Thanks Pete & Michelle for making us feel so welcome. The room was bigger than expected with a lovely sea view. Comfy beds, smart tv, wifi etc. Tram stop directly opposite and a few minutes walk to the pier & pleasure beach which was walkable for my 4 and 7 year old. Wetherspoons was fantastic as was the inside chip shop and both very close. Very convenient.

It was friendly, inviting, spacious. It was right near the arcades, a fish and chip shop, a tram stop and not far from the pleasure beach
