Swan Cottage

We only eat light breakfasts so we only had fruit and cereals which were fine. Bearing in mind Suzie's recent loss of her husband [funeral 2 weeks ago] she is an amazing lady!! She is coping very well. Adjacent pub was also excellent. Also loved her dogs and visiting daughter. Converted my wife to liking dogs which she normally fears.

Everything was fantastic! Room was ideal for us and our dog. Hostess, Suzi, was brilliant and more than helpful with advise on where to visit and eat.

It was lovely, Suzie and Colin were fantastic. They provided us with a lot of information about the area and even booked us a table at the local pub when we mentioned we hadn't booked anything.

Located in the picturesque village of Carlton Husthwaite, Swan Cottage is a delightful cottage set in a beautiful garden. Hosts Colin and Sue are very welcoming. Breakfast is a wide choice from a tasty menu to suit all tastes and served with a view to the extensive garden. It was cold when we were there, however cottage was warm and comfortable. Village gives easy access to the A19 and York plus short distance to North York Moors and the delights of places likes Reivaulx and Hemsley.
