Surya Homestay

Quiet bungalow room with lush garden, just a few hundred meters from a beautiful surf beach. Lovely little breakfast is brought to the door.

The simplicity is just what I like but some might be disappointed by lack of a/c and hot water.

We love this little homestay. The couple that run it are lovely and remembered my partner from a trip 5 years beforehand. It's simple, cheap, accommodation close to the beach. Just be aware there's no hot water in the shower. Will definitely be back on our next visit.

Surya Homestay was excellent.My room was large and clean and had air conditioning....Sleep quality was very good....The location was perfect-a short walk to the beach and to a number of restaurants nearby....Breakfast each morning was top class....The friendly staff really made my stay SO enjoyable....I want to thank Putu and Wayan,the owners,as well as Made and Agus... They really made my stay memorable...This is the perfect place to stay at Balian beach....Worth returning to....Top marks....10 out of 10....A special THANK YOU to Made who was my driver as I visited the temples..

I loved everything.

The family was wonderful. They cleaned our room every day even though we only stayed two nights. The breakfast was fantastic, as was the location. It was just a lovely chill, cheap place and well worth a stay.

We received a very warm welcome and the breakfast was delicious! It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, which isn't very busy. At night it is very quiet, you can hear the sound of the sea Absolutely recommendable, I would definitely come back! :)

No hot water in the shower.

We love Wayan and Putu and their boys. They are our Bali family !! So awesome with the kids and our girls adore them. Miss you guys so much !! Love the beautiful garden and the yummy breakfast ! Wayan looks after everyone like their her own family !! ❤️❤️

The family who run the place, the atmosphere, the location and the breakfast each morning is amazing.

My room, particularly the bathroom and toilet was filthy. I spent one hour cleaning it so I could enjoy my stay there.
