"Excellent."

It was everything you would expect of a b&b. Comfortable, clean and friendly. Location was perfect for train station and town centre. Also very good breakfast.

Robinson was a very friendly and accommodating host and everything met expectations.

The family dog coming to say hello at breakfast was unexpected and might not be appreciated by some.

"A very comfortable stay with a friendly host."

This is a lovely house and we had a very comfortable stay. The host, Robertson, made us feel very welcome and everything was very good, including the delicious breakfast. The property is perfectly situated for traveling by train and walking the short distance into the town centre.

"we actually were in Dumfries to go to a funeral, so it wasn't really a happy time"

I thought the decor was a bit dated and the furniture in my room was quite old - some of the drawers were coming apart.
