"A beautiful house and a comfortable stay."

It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful house. Such lovely rooms with plenty of space. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water and everywhere was so clean and tidy. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast and Peter was a helpful, interesting host.

A small point - the window had been recently painted and we couldn’t open it.

"We had a comfortable, relaxing stay in the beautiful countryside."

Our stay at Sloley Hall couldn't have been better. The surroundings are stunning, the rooms are large and furnished with everything you could possibly need during your stay, the breakfast was super quality (the hosts informed us that they try to use local products as much as possible season permitting), and the hosts were absolutely wonderful.

Everything was perfect.

Splendid location. Nice breakfast. The room was very modern, neat, and tidy. Pete and Jodie were excellent hosts. Very warm and welcoming and made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible.

It’s a beautiful place to stay. Lots of interesting facts about the hall which the hosts will tell you about. It is kept in keeping to the age which is lovely. Comfy beds, very clean, good food, hosts are welcoming as is their dog, Peggy. Grounds are beautiful.

Breakfast was good. Location very much off beaten track and satnav not reliable. What three words app might help people to find the house.

We had room with private bathroom but other rooms were en-suite I think. Maybe emphasise private across landing as easy to overlook when booking.

"We are so pleased we chose Sloley for our anniversary weekend"

Splendid Breakfast , served exactly when we wanted . The house is a wonderfully genuine 200 year old example of the style of living in a modest country house . The grounds are exquisitely beautiful with a calmness hard to find in the modern world . We would be most happy to return again in the future .

Our visit would be hard to better , and the weather turned out be wonderful !

"Beautiful house in lovely location with very friendly owners"

Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room and was just right for us No ensuite

No ensuite bathroom. The description stated private facilities which I assumed to be ensuite. Having said that the private bathroom was across the landing and was very large. Also the steep staircase should be declared as unsuitable for disabled guests
