Breakfast perfect, hosts perfect, location perfect, room perfect, brilliant stay all round.

The owners were lovely, gave us really helpful tips on where to go and what to see and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Solely is a really great family-run place - the location is perfect; it's quiet enough to be relaxing (and we even saw a couple of deer), but close to interesting places to visit or find nice restaurants.

Stayed with work partners for a wedding in the area. We were made to feel very welcome.

Its character

We had a great time and Pete the owner was great if you needed anything. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Sloley Hall is a beautiful home in the countryside. It was quiet and relaxing and the owners were friendly and happy to share the history of the house with us and other guests. The rooms are large and beautifully furnished with antique furniture in keeping with the character of the house. Breakfast was delicious. We would recommend Sloley Hall to anyone. It was a touch of luxury for us but homely as well. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Pete and Jodie were very helpful and welcoming for our weekend stay. The Hall has an air of grandeur that comes with its age, and the room was spacious and the bed comfy. Breakfast was delicious. You'll need transport to get around, it's a couple of miles from the nearest town/pub.

Location is peaceful and relaxing. The house itself is gorgeous and the hosts clearly love living there. This is their home and not a hotel so if you want hotel type stay this is not for you. Peter and Jodie go out of their way to make their guests feel at home.
