Very friendly, helpful hosts. Room was large and exceptionally clean. Plenty of teas & coffees in room. Breakfast was excellent. Situated in a lovely, quiet town. Perfect when walking Lady Anne's Way

Clean, very friendly and excellent breakfast. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Shower and bath were great. One of the owners even gave me a lift to the venue we were down at for a wedding

Was there for a wedding stay, no complaints as it was perfect.

"A Great Stay at Askrigg at Thornsgill House."

My one night stay at Thornsgill House at Askrigg was a real highlight of my walk across Yorkshire and one that was clearly not enough. So next year I'll be returning again to enjoy one of the best bed and breakfasts I gave ever stayed at. Everything was excellent. The welcome, the bedroom, and the breakfast. Thanks Anne & Barry for getting me back to fitness to tackle Day 2 of 8 through the Dales.

Clean, quiet and parking available. Very little traffic from outside and pubs are all within walking distance. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of choice available. Bed is comfortable, room was spacious and well heated.

Nothing comes to mind. Definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed at.

The breakfast was delicious - fresh strawberries and blueberries followed be a cooked breakfast! Fresh coffee and toast. The people were charming and we will definitely return. Location was great - easy to get out onto The Dales but with pubs/restaurants within walking distance.
