"Amazing, welcoming place to stay in the Dales"

Amazing place to stay, with a warm welcome from the owners. Both very much outdoor people so just ask for the best places to visit. The room was clean comfortable, quiet and obviously modernised recently. Looked very smart as good if not better than many hotels. Asked if I was going to have a cuppa in the room and promptly gave me fresh milk, non of that UHT stuff. I have to mention the breakfast as that is top notch as well, all in all a great place to stay And I can’t wait to go back.

Lovely 2 night stay at Thornsgill House BnB in beautiful Askrigg Barry & Ann are the perfect hosts. Our room was very clean and well presented, with ample tea and coffee and fresh milk. The bed was really comfy, very welcome after two lovely days walking in the local countryside. Highly recommended.

Location was excellent, I found it easily. I was greeted on arrival and check in was great. Was shown to my room and everything explained in terms to coming and going, breakfast times and the menu for breakfast.
