Such good value, lovely and interesting venue. Very clean and comfortable, very friendly host and great breakfast. My 2nd visit - will visit again.

The guest house is a very historic building, set in a pretty village. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The village has a good pub and there are several others within easy reach for meals and drinks. There is plenty of on street parking.

We were very happy with our stay and cannot find fault.

Excellent location for Rutland Water. Pub within 4-5 minutes amble ( The Fox - can highly recommend the food and ale). Lovely host.Very homely atmosphere. Good breakfast. Very good value for money. Will definitely book again when visiting Rutland Water.

Mattresses in our twin room were a little on the soft side. I am prone to back aches and twinges, which are exacerbated by soft mattresses. I suppose it depends on what you are used to. This is no criticism of the standard of accommodation. Overall a great mini break was had.

It's a beautiful place in a lovely area and the host was excellent - friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast was great too - fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, toast, and a delicious omelette. We needed a bit of flexibility with our timings and this was no problem which we really appreciated. It also had bike storage! It was great value for our night's stay and we would very happily return,

Location perfect for a stroll around the area and excellent pub, The Fox in easy walking distance. James was very welcoming on our arrival, provided an excellent breakfast and history of the house. Definitely recommend staying here.

The host was lovely, the location beautiful, and the price... outstanding. I would also like to add that although it is advertised as having no on-site parking---which there is not---there is ample street parking nearby.
