The horse and panniers guest house.

We really liked its historical feel and quirkiness. We also liked the fact that we could use the kitchen and the log fire. It was a very comfortable stay. The best part of the stay was the host Chris, who went out of his way to make us feel at home.

The room I had the en-suite had been recently refurbished, my sister would have liked the en-suite in her room to have been as good as mine! But it was not bad enough to put her off as they are planning another visit there.

Chris was very helpful and welcoming, it was fantastic value for our one night stay whilst visiting friends in the area.

This place is a hidden gem for me it was perfect will definitely return.

It's a lovely little place nothing negative to say about it.

Warm welcome on arrival. The room we stayed in was warm comfy and perfect for our stay. The location was peaceful, a short walk to the local pub for dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would definitely return if visiting the aera for a night or two. Thank you for your hospitality and a brief history of the horse and panniers over breakfast, very interesting and a great way to understand the aera and history .
