Toilet - shower was down steep steps. Handrail slippery and not well fitted

We loved everything about Slate Hall. Greeted by the lovely owners, Mark and Monique. Our room, the facilities and breakfast were all outstanding and would 100% recommend, as it will not disappoint.

Breakfast arrangements were excellent, bed was the comfiest ever and slept so well. Hospitality of the hosts was second to none. Location was perfect, far enough from the centre but not to far to walk.

Cannot fault anything

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and set us up perfectly for the day. The location is ideal – just a short distance from Bamburgh Castle, beautiful beaches, and Seahouses. A perfect base for exploring the area. Highly recommended

Room, breakfast, service, little personal touches

Very warm room, main road a bit noisy

Very nice room with eye for detail, very clean, lovely hosts, breakfast served to your room was great (try the cowboy beans!) Seahouses is a crowded town with lots of tourists because it's near the beach. Walking distance to restaurants.

As it were hot days it was hard to keep the room cool, which is obviously not the fault of the hosts!
