The rooms were very clean, comfortable and with good facilities. Loved having fresh milk. It was a really lovely place to stay.

Earlier breakfast option but only because I had to rush a bit to go to work

Delightful location, a very friendly welcome as were all of the staff throughout, the restaurant was excellent as was the presentation. The included breakfast was again very well presented with a good choice. Car parking was easy and good

There was nothing to dislike

Great quiet location, lovely in house restaurant, breakfast personalised to our taste and freshly cooked. Off street parking and surrounded by thatched roofed cottages. All staff that we had dealings with were friendly & engaging. We would definitely stay here again.

The Fox was very pleasant. It's a ways out from Winchester, in the countryside. Food was great (probably the best chips I've ever had), very good breakfast. The lady who served breakfast was very friendly and welcoming and showed me lots of information for the area. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the building is stylish and homey.

I would have liked a bit more light in the room and a shelf in the bathroom. The hotel isn't staffed at night, which was a bit eerie, though not really a problem. I wasn't sure if I was the only one in the place or not (turned out I wasn't) - it was very quiet. They do give you an emergency number to call in case you need it.

I arrived by bicycle and the staff were very accomodating, bringing it inside at the end of the night. Food was great both at night and breakfast. All in all the staff were very attentive.

when I returned a few dates later just for a quick drink and perhaps lunch, I hadn't realised it isn't open during the day.
