Room small so no bedside table to put alarm or phone on

Room spacious, clean and tidy and bed comfortable; very pleasant bathroom! The redesign of a traditional pub had been quite careful and. there was plenty of scope for campers and special facilities for touring bikes. Continental self service breakfast adequate for needs! Towels replaced when we asked.

Think staff a little distant at first; we had to wait rather a long time before we were noticed when we arrived, but everyone very accommodating once we were recognised for who we were. Some speed monitoring cables had been laid on the road next to the Swan which disturbed us a bit; but that wasn't the hotel's fault.

We very much enjoyed breakfast. For a continental breakfast there was a good selection. Healthy and varied with a nice cheese selection.

We did enjoy the Pieminster pies but would have preferred more options other than pie options. Also the dessert was limited to only 2 ice cream options.

Excellent continental breakfast with fresh fruit & croissants. Beautifully presented with lots of care. Rooms and the rest of the hotel/bar have been tastefully and comfortably furnished. Food (excellent pies!) and a great range of ciders and beers were first class. Stephanie could not have made us more welcome and found time to chat with us during our stay. Please find time to stay there - you won't regret it!

Bed was a wee bit too small for us and against the wall making access a little difficult. However, room and rest of the property were extremely tasteful and comfortable.

Continental breakfast was provided. The pub serves pies and mash and we were happy with that. The location, although on a road, was very good with a lovely view. The room was superb with a super-comfy bed. Stephanie, Garry and Daisy were very good, helpful hosts.

Everything. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the countryside.. The ensuite was spacious with a lovely big shower and there was the welcome addition of a sofa in the room and a fan was provided! The breakfast was continental and was plentiful. We arrived after a long journey in heavy traffic, our hosts were lovely and very hospitable, we would definitely stay again.
