Schooner Point Guest House

What a wonderful B & B in the lovely town of Looe. The owners Paula and Tom were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The single room was spacious and well equipped, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Really is a great place to stay!

We loved everything about our stay! As soon as we arrived our hosts were immediately welcoming, and shared lots of great tips and recommendations to make sure we had a great time while visiting. The rooms were bright, comfortable, and spotless. The breakfast was homemade and better than anything we'd expect to get in a restaurant (plus the view from the dining room), so it was great value. Location was very convenient, only 5 minute walk from the train, but still nice and quiet and not in the thick of it. Overall can't say enough good things!

Location was perfect to get into town,a bit of a steep hill to get back. Tom and Paula are fantastic hosts! The breakfasts are freshly cooked to order and delicious. We loved the extra touches in the room and highly recommend the Schooner!

Paula and Tom are very friendly hosts and want to ensure their guests have the best possible stay. Beautiful rooms, a big, very good bed and a lovely, fresh breakfast are all part of the experience, as are great tips for walks and day trips if required. Tip, especially for larger cars: head straight to the Millpool Car Park (29 GBP for 7 days is fine; it’s secure and your holiday will get off to a more relaxed start than if you have to go on a challenging hunt for a parking space) - it’s just ca. 200m/4min walking distance.

My stay at Schooner Point Guest House in Looe was absolutely exceptional. Great location, with walking distance to the harbour, beaches, and charming local shops and restaurants. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel genuinely welcome, and the hospitality throughout my stay was second to none. Breakfast was outstanding, with delicious freshly prepared food and plenty of choice. Every part of my stay reflected the care and pride Tom and Paula clearly put into making guests feel at home.

Fabulous friendly hosts with a warm welcome. Excellent breakfast. Lovely view from the room. Good location (although note it is up a steep hill and lots of steps to get to the property) huge bathroom. Bathrobe and slippers provided.

The private bathroom was across the landing but they did provide a bathrobe. The shower was old and noisy but adequate
