Cathedral View Guest House

Perfectly situated for the cathedral and castle with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants close by. Large comfortable room with lots of character in an historic building. Good cooked breakfast prepared by friendly host. On site parking is behind the property via a narrow arch.

The location was as good as it gets. The room was fine and we had easy access to our car.

It was a real bonus to get parking in this location but I found the access a little worrying in an unfamiliar (rental) car. Our host guided me in and leaving was easier.

Super breakfast ……. all angles covered. Excellent location as it names says. Interesting room with steep stairs.

You will not find a better location visiting the Tourist information shop, Post Office, Cathedral and restaurants, bus stops, etc etc. All within 5 minutes and free parking! Breakfast cooked to order great selection of fruit, cereals, yogurt or Paul cooked anything on the menu.

The entrance through the arch is not a problem, just line up slowly and squarely fold in mirrors. I drive a VW T Roc it was easy. Plus I backed up to the accommodation so my vehicle was out of site an added bonus helped by Paul

The location was perfect at the top of Steep Hill. The hosts were lovely, friendly, and informed us well about everything, including the best places to eat. The breakfast was all freshly cooked to order, with the usual extras, cereals, juices, etc. We had room 7 at the top, and it was lovely, really quirky with a low ceiling and all the original beams, plenty of storage space, a good-sized bathroom with a shower.

The bed was too soft, but that's personal taste. It was lovely, though a little expensive.

The location was great very close to the cathedral, castle, quaint shops, pubs and restaurants. Paul was kind enough to pick us up at the station and give a short intro. to the area. Then ordered us a taxi for the return trip. Taxi was about $8.

Location is amazing - right opposite the cathedral, and the breakfasts were great - with an lovely breakfast room.

The heat of the towel rail took me by surprise!

Excellent friendly team. Central to the historical part of the city - easy access to all. Still close to the city centre and good range of shops.

Location and cooked breakfast ok no choice for continental

Room was very small for a double. Parking was a nightmare, no space for cars and my husband helped a couple of people to get cars out.
