Staff lovely and building full of character. Lovely old pub ideally located for Looe and surrounding attractions.

We had rooms at front of building and road noise was a big problem for us and we vacated early but staff did all they could to help. I also struggled with steep stairs as I suffer from arthritis in ankle.

We stayed here to attend a gig about 1.5 miles from the pub. Great value for money, nice cheap pints and a gorgeous beer garden out the back! Didn't stop for food but the menus all looked great. Would definitely stay again.

Lloyd and Kirsty were fantastic hosts! The staff were amazing and the locals made us feel like one of them - the Minchello brothers even fixed our car after a breakdown on the way. The pubs in a great location and the surrounding area is stunning! Lloyd even gave us a lift to the station which he he didn’t have to do! They made us a packed lunch because we missed breakfast. The room we stayed in was big and just freshly decorated. It was clean and although it’s on a road it’s really quiet - had some really good sleep! We had breakfast and dinner and all our meals were really tasty and good value for money. Don’t be put off by the fact that it’s a pub….it’s a little gem and we’ll definitely be back!
