Busua Inn

Loved the location right on the beautiful Busua Beach. Fantastic food from the kitchen & wonderful hosts who made the stay comfortable. We loved our visit in this special part of the world! Hopefully back some day soon :)

The most central location in the whole Busua, and there’s Danielle, one of the most reliable source of local information. Great staff, nice rooms, affordale…

Great location - but then every other hotel is also on beachfront :/ Clean rooms

The listing offers the option to book now and pay later. But then the owner reached out to me a few days later via message and asked me to pay now or else I would lose the room. I had to send money through overseas bank transfer. When asked about this, she says it's because her bank account is not accepted in Ghana. But this has nothing to do with being able to book now and pay later. I spoke to other guests and this is how they operate. If you can't pay now, this is not the place for you to book. Hotel says it has WIFI but this is hit and miss. When I arrived, the owner asked me not to use too much internet. I can understand why - in many countries you have to pay for data and it can be costly. But this is why I paid to stay in a more expensive hotel instead of the other amazing ones in the area. Also, often there was no WIFI and the owners would say that it's because of a network issue. But it was very clear the WIFI had been turned off (it's clear because the name of the network was not visible at all. I'm a millennial - I know what internet that has been turned off looks like). I'm especially troubled by the fake option to pay later and the no WIFI issue because there are hotels around, owned by locals people, that I could have booked and put money into the local economy. I chose this one instead because of the option to pay later and the WIFI and i'm sure others will too. But these options were exaggerated by the host / do not exist. This is all on purpose and I find it hard to stomach the dishonesty.

Staff made several mistakes with bill. Also a requested advance from the owner was a bit unusual.

The location was excellent - a perfect, quiet spot right on the beach. The food was delicious, all freshly made and a big choice of dishes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and Danielle the owner was so welcoming. I will definitely stay again when visiting Busua and highly recommend to others.

It’s close to the sea and has easy access to the busua township.staff were very friendly.

Room rates isn’t inclusive of breakfast

the location is very good and central. the price is relatively low for a private room. the staff was friendly and welcoming. the restaurant terrace is right on the beachfront and there’s a good variety of meals on the menu.

the ceiling fan was very loud and might need to be replaced or repaired at some point. i’ve tried to get the wifi password several times but during my two days stay it was somehow not possible to arrange to get the password for me. there was wifi with good signal strength so it would have been convenient if i could have used it.
