Breakfast was excellent. Owner Muriel was charming and could not have been warmer or more helpful. Very good facilities and lovely view. Great location for exploring.

Beautiful, quirky, rustic, self contained little bungalow annexed to the owners property but very private. Extremely comfortable and clean, with lots of extras, tea/coffee, microwave, fridge, hairdryer, air con, fan, toiletries, tv, undercover drying rack, even books and suncream, everything you need if you have forgotten anything. Your own private outside area with bbq and seating which you can move around to suit. Safe parking onsite. Excellent continental breakfast is served on the owners terrace, from where the view is idyllic, in fact the view of the bay used in the opening credits of Death In Paradise was taken from the property. You can use this terrace and seating whenever you want. 5 minute walk into the centre, shops, restaurants and bay. The road runs past the property but we did not find this a problem as the numerous bonus points outweighed this. Muriel, the owner is absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly, we will miss her and her 2 little dogs Gus and Nemo. We would live there if we could.

Great accomodation, really near Deshaise. Short walk up the hill. Very clean and comfortable. Aircon in the bedroom. Muriel is a super host. She is so friendly and helpful. Our breakfasts were fantastic.

Muriel is the host and she is wonderful. Between her very good English, my really not so good French and Google Translate we got on brilliantly. She has a beautiful home in the hills above Deshaies that has a view over the bay, harbour and town. The accommodation is in an annex that is spacious, very clean, has a fridge and a private outdoor space, which also overlooks the town. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful - fresh fruit, bread and croissants. We used to walk into town for dinner in one of the many restaurants and drive out during the day to see the various sights locally. She has two dogs that are very friendly and keep an eye out for anyone coming up the drive that shouldn't be :) Would definitely recommend to stay for a few days with Muriel!

There was nothing we did not like; one word of warning - the driveway is steep, as are many of the roads in Guadeloupe!

The accommodation was fantastic. The breakfasts were more than fantastic! Muriel was lovely and helped us making our plans for the day. We travelled by bus and it was a short distance out of town but no problem at all without suitcases. The local busses were quite unpredictable and other than travelling back to P a P we didn’t have much success. Deshais is a lovely town with great food and some good things within walking distance so great for a short stay even without a car.

Comfortable room and facilities within easy walking reach of Deshaies. Facilities are as advertised with a super friendly host Murielle who gave us lots of tips on where to go and provided a great breakfast each day. Loads of bits and pieces provided which meant if you’d forgotten anything it really didn’t matter, this was unexpected in a bed and breakfast and went over and above expectations.

The property is on a main road but this is clear from the map,so not unexpected.

The room was a bit small.

Wow, a gem of a place, with great views of the bay. The breakfast was awesome, plenty of choice. Comfortable, and very clean, well provided for accommodation. Homely touches, especially having the company of the 2 dogs and cat. Handy for walking to view the film locations for Death in Paradise and the Botanical Gardens. Murial was so helpful and sorted out our taxi transport to the airport, a big thank you. Google maps shows the property is located by the road, and on a hill, which wasn't an issue for us as we had done our homework. It didn't detract from the beautiful sound of the birds that visited the properties tropical garden. Thanks again for the wonderful hospitality. Elaine and David, Liverpool UK
