Fairhaven, Oban Town Centre

Loved the location, short walk to the harbour and grocery store. Rooms were nice and clean, you have your own bathroom. Host gave very easy and clear instructions to get in and were quick to respond.

Unfortunately able to hear other guests in room next door but they did stop chatting by 11pm. Also, doors slammed and rocked the room. Again…not a problem between 11am and 7pm

Rien. Le cadre était très impersonnel, aucune décoration, aucun accueil. Des mails envoyés à plusieurs reprises à l'établissement sans aucun retour. Aucun contact humain. C'est à la chaîne.

Les draps et serviettes étaient sales et tâchés à notre arrivée. Les joints de la douche étaient totalement noirs. De plus nous avons entendu les passants dans la rue et les voitures toute la nuit, ainsi que nos voisins de chambre. Tout est très mal isolé.

In der Frühstückszeit war der Frühstücksraum geöffnet und man konnte im hellen Wintergarten essen. Für B&B als Zwischenübernachtung oder Startpunkt für Inseltrips ausreichend.

Das Zimmer war sehr beengt mit zwei Rucksäcken ohne Schrank. Es gab nur einen Stuhl, auf dem dann ein Rucksack Platz fand. Das Fenster zum dahinter liegenden Hang machte das Zimmer dunkel. Der kleine Aufenthaltsraum am Eingang eignet sich nur bedingt als Aufenthaltsersatz.
