Very convenient for my work. Friendly staff. Clean and comfy. I was only staying one night while working locally, but found it very cosy and quiet. There is a cheap long stay car park very close to the front of the tavern.

Fantastic hosts and a spotless room. Comfortable bed. And a complementary pint on arrival from Neil. Decent tea and coffee facilities, and well equipped ensuite. All excellent.

It's a working pub, which is its charm. On Saturday night there was a DJ and when I went upstairs the music bled into the room. He stopped at a decent time though and then it was dead quiet. I'm sure school nights are pretty silent.

Perfect location, super friendly owners, great extremely clean and quiet room with a super comfortable bed. I slept so well. And the big bonus - my room had a large bath. Great price as well. I’ll definitely be coming back to this place next time there a gig in town.
