Abberley House

Very friendly proprieter made me welcome. Good selection of Cerials for breakfast. Ideally situated within a 10 min walk from Carlisle Railway station. Very good value for money and extremely clean and comfortable.

There was nothing that I could dislike about Abberley House.

Apperley house had everything you need lovely bright room very clean and comfortable. Lovely powerful shower I couldn't fault the amenities that were provided. Breakfast was perfect lovely and fresh and piping hot,service was excellent. Owners were lovely ,friendly and very helpful. Excellent value for the money. Definitely would stay here again.

The only downfall was my room was on the front and as the weather was really warm needed to keep the window open traffic was very noisy.

The noise from the road outside was dreadful… even with the window closed!!! It was very hot weather and no fan in the room Budget price and bedroom furniture budget—- which is fine except the fabric on the buffer was very worn. No firm pillow. Very good uncooked breakfast provided. Very good value.

It was relatively comfortable with parking available, reasonably priced & the host was helpful.

I couldn’t get the shower to work & it was very hot with no fan made available.

It was very comfortable and the bed was very good. The room was substantial and nicely laid out. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was annoyingly on quite a noisy road. The shower lacked power in the morning. A few nicer touches would have made difference. The breakfast was only OK

Friendly and no fuss. Advertises a continental breakfast, but I was offered, and was pleased to accept, a "full English" at no extra cost. The house is an "old fashioned" property but very nicely kept and comfortable. Spacious and well equipped room with a good shower and plenty of extra TV channels; good wifi and tea/coffee making. Less than 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Easy to find on the main road in and good off road parking. Altogether a very good choice for a short stay.

It's not far set back from a busy main road so there is some traffic noise, but not excessive. Otherwise all very good.

The host was welcoming, happy to wait for my late arrival time. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable, slept very well. The full English breakfast is delicious, quick service. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Great value will come again.
