"Great location, friendly people and comfy beds!"

Great location, a short walk from the train/bus station, close to the Hadrians wall path, very comfy beds, plenty of parking if you’re driving, very friendly staff!

We had to ask for a cooked breakfast on the second morning, it wasn’t made clear at check in that a hot breakfast would be available. But just a miscommunication! Otherwise a very lovely stay and I’d stay again.

Everything clean and comfortable. Didn't want to get out of bed! Good situation for town centre, 5min walk, not much further to station. Definitely recommended.

"Room was a good size and it had everything I needed."

Lovely old house. Good location. Bed was very comfy.

There was a selection of tea and coffee in the room but only three milks and you need all three for a decent coffee. So you can only have one drink before running out of milk. Not a deal breaker just a suggestion.

"Too noisy to hot wouldn’t go back."

Close to the centre

Been asked if I wanted a cooked breakfast when I arrived at 3.30 in the afternoon. Should be able to choose in the morning, no menu. A couple of slices of toast, cheap jam, yogurt no cereal very poor breakfast.

Pleasantly situated. Easy access to city centre ( max 10 minute walk to high st) Very helpful and pleasant proprietor. Comfortable bed. Simple continental breakfast but enough.

Beautifully clean single room with excellent facilities. A perfectly presented full English breakfast.

Situated on a busy main road which made iit pretty much non stop noisy.

"Convenient for the town"

Great location to the town centre, easy to find from the motorway along with off road parking. Stayed one night in a single room, plenty big enough for the night or possibly longer. The property is nicely appointed and styled in line with its age.

Unfortunately the downside of easy access to the town centre is the fact that the accommodation is located on a main road which is busy all night.
