Shower was dreadful, Very noisy ( traffic on the road ) Bed very uncomfortable

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Haus an sich ist sehr schön. Das ist vielleicht das erste Mal, dass ich das in eine Bewertung schreibe, aber das Bettzeug war wirklich angenehm. Mein Zimmer war auch recht groß und großzügig eingerichtet mit zwei schönen Sesseln, Tisch, usw.

Das Frühstück war eher minimalistisch, es fehlt wirklich etwas wie Eier und/oder Käse. Und das größere Problem - die Straße vor dem Haus ist wirklich laut. Nachts wird es besser, aber die schönen alten Fenster helfen nicht gegen den Lärm.

There were sachets of shampoo but no soap to wash your hands.. For the price we paid I would expect a little soap as it cost so little. The owner did produce it when asked

The room was neat and clean

The bed matrass had previously collapsed and they had tried to correct this with a second thinner matrass. That didn't work and we kept on sliding into the centre of the bed. Very uncomfortable. Secondly the window was of such a poor fit that the noise reduction was zero. the combination of these meant that we did not get a nights sleep. This was important as we had a long way to drive the following day and we are both in our late sixties. It was advertised as B&B but then they wanted to charge for a cooked breakfast?

Lovely clean room, comfy bed, nice shower facilities in room. Friendly hosts, great value for money. Tasty breakfast

Parking is a bit limited. Based on a main road into the city so traffic noise noticeable but didn’t affect my sleep

Very convenient for my journey from Scotland to England

The Bed and Breakfast is very comfortable but as it is on a busy Carlisle road the noise from traffic is constant if the window is open in hot weather.
