Comfort House

Lovely welcome. Simple but delicious breakfast. Attentive help. Newly refurbished bathroom.

Although the linen was clean, the bed was super-comfortable and the towels were luxurious, the room was very dusty and in need of a deep clean.

The room was very spacious and comfortable plus the property was very clean. The host Keith and his Housekeeper Helen were very pleasant and welcoming and the location was very quiet but close enough to the local town to be able to walk (circa 20 minute walk to Havant Rail Station).

The breakfast consisted of a choice of cereals, toast, orange juice and tea or coffee, which were ok but could have been enhanced by adding a choice of yoghurts and/or fruit included in the price, something which other places we have stayed have provided as part of their continental offering.

Breakfast poor. Continental but without croissants or fruit. Didn't say continental breakfast on description

Great location and brilliant host. Super comfortable, room is very clean and newly refurbished bathroom. Room is big with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Could not recommend more.

Warm and friendly welcome from Keith. Lovely clean comfortable room with tea making facilities, TV and bathroom next door. Good choice of cereals, toast and cold meats for breakfast, served by friendly house keeper.

We weren't aware there would be cats in the house but may have missed it on the advertisement. Not a problem for us but some people may have allergies.

Perfectly adequate breakfast, juice, cereal, toast, tea and coffee. Represented a economic overnight stay

Slight issue with toilet flushing.

Very friendly welcome and both the ladies working in the morning doing breakfast were so lovely.

Unfortunately I found this place very old fashioned and felt like I was staying in an old people's home with the stairlift and all the other mobility equipment. I wasn't expecting to have to go onto the landing to enter my bathroom, although I didn't come across anyone else this should have been made clear. My biggest issue was the noise. So from 7.45 I was woken by humming and water noise from I assume whatever water system the house uses. I did find it a little strange to be told breakfast was at 9am only. We wanted to get away earlier on the second day but couldn't due to breakfast time! The decor could really do with some updating too.

A simple breakfast but plentiful. Staff were friendly. Lovely big room with comfortable bed and a nice bathroom.
