Stroud House

The bed was comfortable and the room was very cosy and traditional. Sarah our host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, we felt so well looked after. The cooked breakfast was delicious and included tomatoes from the garden together with some amazing home made fruit compote and yoghurt. All in all a wonderful old fashioned countryside retreat and just up the road from an excellent pub.

Wonderful characterful property in Freshwater Bay, Sarah was the consummate host, really kind, friendly, helpful with sightseeing tips, and made amazing to order breakfasts in the lovely conservatory, had a great stay and enjoyed chatting with the other guests and Sarah, thanks so much🙏

Sarah est une hôte formidable et son cottage un vrai havre de paix ! Notre chambre était charmante, le lit confortable, super pression dans la douche. Le petit déjeuner est préparé avec amour et le cadre général est tout simplement phénoménal !

Gastvrouw Sarah deed meer dan haar best. Ontbijt was prima. Locatie is echte cottage op voldoende grond. Kamer prima met goede bedden.

The host was lovely and accommodating and the house is superbly plush and clean. Having breakfast in the conservatory was a great start to the day as well. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, we are keen to come back!
