Room was big, bed was big, breakfast was a lot of choices and very good

The hostess was exceptionally hospitable and made the whole experience pleasant. Prior to arrival she contacted us to offer guidance about local facilities and good eateries. She suggested several local sights from both directions. On arrival we were met with an offer of tea or coffee. The room was clean and comfortable. We were upstairs and the sitting area was more generous than the picture suggests and very pleasant. There is ample shared space but we also had some private space. The village is also interesting and a lovely location.Thoroughly recommend .

We were a bit warm overnight (yes in Scotland) and had reservations about opening windows due to midges. But that goes with the territory and we would happily visit again. Nothing about the property was disappointing.

An outstanding B&B in a beautiful spot. Kirsteen is an excellent host, from offering tea/coffee when we got back in the afternoon to helpful suggestions on where to visit and eat. The place was spotlessly clean with everything you’d need in the room and a wonderful continental breakfast with fresh fruit, berries, ham, cheeses and more.

Très jolie chambre spacieuse et joliment décorée, très propre, avec tout le nécessaire et le confort. Emplacement au calme avec une jolie vue depuis l’hôtel. Accueil chaleureux et sympathique avec thé ou café, et petits gâteaux dans le salon très confortable de l’hôtel. Jolie vaisselle. Petit déjeuner somptueux sucré, salé, avec plusieurs sortes de fromages, de confitures, de pain, des croissants, des fruits, des yaourts, des céréales, etc. Rien à redire, c’était parfait.

Bathroom was functional but not attractive and needed better lighting

Location of property was excellent. Received a very warm welcome and enjoyable pot of tea on arrival. Easy walk to harbour for an evening meal. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice and lots of fresh fruit.

Difficult getting up spiral staircase to mezzanine room with small cases. Not sure we'd have managed with bigger cases. Room was very warm during the night making it difficult to sleep.

Lovely house. Very clean, good facilities. Excellent shower. Good breakfast options. Clear information on the area and where to go and to eat provided by the host Kirsteen. Very nice room and bathroom. Comfy bed. Lovely location.
