"A really relaxing stay in comfortable surroundings."

The room was very well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide choice and beautifully cooked. Views from the terrace were fabulous. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was wonderful - a great choice of food , sitting on the balcony with lovely view of the River Dart.

The views were wonderful but to get to the property you have quite a climb from the town, so probably not suitable for someone with limited mobility.

"Outstanding all round"

This is a truly special place. Attention to detail at its highest with nothing being too much trouble. No matter what breakfast items we picked, they were all fabulous. The view over Dartmouth from the balcony’s was amazing. I felt really sad to leave it behind when we left.

Excellent greeting and attention to our needs throughout our stay. Brilliant breakfast on the lounge balcony. Enjoyed the bedroom balcony as well. The design and decor of the property reflects the creativity of the hosts.

The booking.com website needs to be more exact concerning the car parking and steep location. Neither of which would be a problem for younger people.

The property overlooked the hills, the estate and the harbour surrounding Dartmouth. Ann’s breakfast was delicious and served on a beautiful balcony overlooking the stunning views.a

The only downside would be the very small tv in the room, although we weren’t in the room long enough to watch it.

I liked most things about Compass Rose. The food was excellent, the owners were so kind and exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The B&B was probably the best we have ever stayed at.

Although there was parking it was difficult to get to, not a lot of room.

Fabolous room, Lovely Patio area, Fantastic views over Dartmouth, the Owners were superb, nothing was too much trouble and a truly superb breakfast served on the patio. What more could one want? Genuinely, I was treated like a king and couldn't fault my stay in anyway at all.

There was nothing I didn't like.
