"Enjoyable stay with friendly and accommodating hosts."

Great hosts, very friendly, attentive, not intrusive, helpful. Very pleased with how Nick and Andrew accommodated my gluten free requirements, the breakfast was delicious- highly recommended. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The location was central and only a short walk from the beach and the harbour.

"A Warm Welcome Awaits You."

Nick and Andrew were great hosts- attentive without being intrusive, and very friendly. The food was lovely, well-cooked and plentiful. Our room was very clean and spacious, with nice touches, such as proper milk and coffee/ teabags. It was a good location for accessing Ilfracombe harbour and town centre.

Overall it was great, just that the bed was a bit soft for us!

"One of the best hotels we've stayed in"

This was possibly one of the best hotels we've stayed in and we travel a lot. The welcome from our hosts was exceptional; helped us with luggage then made us tea/coffee and gave us scones with jam and cream. The room was amazing - very spacious, very comfortable and full of lovely touches and original features. There's a modern bathroom and a large wardrobe area which was actually a separate little room within the main room. The breakfasts were delicious. Lots of choice and because you provide your choices the evening before, the food was ready promptly. Extra was always offered. The hosts were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. It was great to have use of a car parking space too. Deserves more than 10/10!

The only bad thing was having to leave!

"An enjoyable weekend away"

The breakfast was lovely, Hosts were welcoming and friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Room was decorated nicely lots of vintage pieces and cleanliness was of a high standard. 10/10 would stay again.

"Superb"

The owners/staff were first class. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like they genuinely cared. It was great to have help with our luggage and have someone make us tea and scones on arrival.

It would have been nice to have fresh fruit as an option at breakfast but we were happy enough with the menu.
