Crabapple Cottage B&B

The cottage was exactly as described, very welcoming and cosy. Close to the High Street, very convenient. An adequate selection of food was also provided for breakfast.

All was fine.

Exceptionally well thought through: everything you could possibly need was provided. The bread, granolas, teas & coffees provided were of excellent quality - s shame that most mornings I had to dash out! The bed was incredibly comfortable. The kitchenette perfect for a short stay. Plenty of space, towels & products provided. The fruit was a nice touch too. Communication was great but also allowed for total privacy. It felt very homey: I liked listening to the rain on the roof and the birds in the morning. An ideal location just off the high street (Lewes is so great!), yet felt tranquil & quiet. Just 12 minutes walk from the station too. An utterly brilliant option, so pleased it was my home from home!

No comfy chairs

It’s a lovely cottage, very clean and in a nice, quiet location. Short walk to the train station and very near the high street.

Only improvement would have been to have an armchair, I did feel the lack of comfortable spot to rest after a whole day of exploring.

Le Crabapple Cottage est adorable, très propre, cosy et confortable. Il est situé en plein cœur de Lewes, dans le jardin de l'hôte, dans un petit écrin de végétation qui offre calme et intimité. Impeccable !

The location was great and the facilities were good. The breakfast welcome pack was a great idea.

If I was staying longer I would have liked a soft armchair to sit in.

The cottage is clean and cosy and in a great location for exploring Lewes and the surrounding area. You will feel like you are in the most English of England. We really appreciated the breakfast items we hadn't expected. Felicity is a great host.
