Thornham Cottage

Lovely place and room. Perfect location for our wedding we attended that night. Nice and tidy. Lovely hosts even if we only saw them a few times. Would be more than happy to use them again.

Shower could have been more powerful but that’s just personal preference.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Provided tea and biscuits on arrival after a long walk from Wembury on Two Moors Way. Derek then drove us into Ivybridge to the pub as the local was shut on a Monday. Lovely comfy and clean room too.

This cottage is an absolute little gem. It's off the beaten track in the countryside, but upon following Dereks instructions we found it easily from the motorway. The hosts Derek and Valerie made us both really welcome, and the accommodation was classy, comfortable and scrupulously clean. Our breakfast was delicious, first class and all the produce was locally sourced. We had a lovely stay and look forward to staying again in the future.

There was nothing to dislike. However if you prefer the impersonal blandness of a corporate chain and a faceless host, this isn't for you. This cottage is a top notch home from home with a cherry on the top
