We had a great stay for one night.

Lovely cottage set in a picturesque location

What a wonderful and cozy place! Just what we needed after a long way. Its nicely located, the owner was kind and helpful and the room very clean and cozy. The farm animals were an additional perk. Good value for money!

Breakfast was just what you would expect from a farm; lovely fresh eggs and bread! The petting animals was a bonus.

Die Besitzerin war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, die Tiere auch mega süß, hier zu übernachten ist auf keinen Fall eine schlechte Wahl.

Cara was a great host and the accommodation was very comfortable. We were warmly greeted, the room was spacious and very clean. The property was very peaceful and is a 3 minute walk to the Seaview hotel where we had a great meal. Further down the road is the John O'Groats village (still walking distance) with souvenir shops, distillery, brewery, camp ground, ferry and public toilets. Cara provided a wonderful continental breakfast with fresh baked bread, plenty of cereal to choose from, yoghurt, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

There is no shower. Bathing is either by bath or hand held shower sitting in the bath.
